About Us

... Held its first official service on April 16th, 2006 at 7429 Buchanan Rd. Vernon, BC. The Church Started in the home of Charles E. Fettinger Jr., who was sent by Cornerstone Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana to plant churches in British Columbia. What a blessing to see 19 people attend our very first service, especially a service held in a home.

The Lord continued to bless and add to the attendance of the church. He soon blessed us with a place closer to town to meet. We were able to rent a storefront in the Alpine Centre; this allowed us to get out of the house and into a place that showed more stability. We were very excited about how God
was continuing to bless our little church.

Not long after getting the storefront in the Alpine Centre space began to run out. We approached the landlord and asked if we could expand. The Lord answered prayers again and we were able to get more space. We tore down some walls, and built others. When all was said and done we had a bigger sanctuary, bigger Sunday School room, a nursery, and a kitchen. Praise the Lord!

We now have a wonderful location at 2802 30th st. down town Vernon. We hope to grow in this location and in 3 years time be able to purchase land or a building of our own.
